About Us

From an early age Pamela has been interested in design and furntiture construction. As a child she constructed a plywood doll house with the help of her father. She decorated the rooms and even made balsa wood reproductions of 18th century furniture.

Pamela-Baird-CKDPamela Baird has over thirty years of experience in the Kitchen & Bath Industry. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Housing and Design from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. Pamela realized that she enjoyed the challenges of kitchen design and set her goal of learning the skills of cabinet design.

Her first job in the industry was working as a customer service person/ designer for the Wood-Mode Custom Cabinetry factory representative in Denver. There she learned about the high-end segment of the industry and what it takes to run a successful business.

When the opportunity to become the factory representative for Wood-Mode Custom Cabinetry in Northern California and Nevada became available, she moved sight unseen to establish KB Associates. In addition to setting up and servicing accounts, the position offered Pamela the opportunity to design displays and showrooms as well as marketing the cabinet products in a variety of ways.

Pamela participated in the cabinet design and detailing for promotional display homes for Sunset magazine, Metropolitan Home magazine, and Idea House endeavors in the San Francisco Design Center. In addition, she designed four stores for a major retail appliance company in Northern California. She has designed promotional displays for several appliance distributors and their retail accounts.

Business marketing and promotion efforts are interests that she has enjoyed helping her accounts develop. She has guided dealers in postcard mailings, open houses, magazine placements, general advertising and social media efforts.

Beginning in 2013 Pamela shifted her efforts to being an independent specialist focusing on design, consulting and marketing. Her years of diversified experience will enhance her interaction with clients. As a CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) and Allied ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) she is qualified to assist in both commercial and residential projects.
